Our Story

The PUB and Grill is a premier restaurant nestled in the heart of Appleton, Wisconsin. With a reputation that precedes us, we have become synonymous with exceptional drinks, delectable food, and unforgettable events. Our owner, Davinder "Binder" Singh, embarked on a transformative journey when he left India in 1998 to establish roots in the Fox Valley region. Initially joining the family businesses, he assumed operations for a chain of gas stations located in Appleton and Oshkosh in 2004. Over the years, Binder's entrepreneurial spirit and strong community ties led him to forge close relationships with fellow business owners. In a pivotal moment in March 2022, Binder seized the opportunity to acquire his first bar and restaurant, The Boars Nest. Located adjacent to his Appleton gas station, this establishment faced its share of challenges. However, Binder couldn't resist the urge to rejuvenate the bar and restore it to a thriving venue. Driven by his vision, he embarked on a new endeavor, securing the acquisition of his second bar in January 2023, further solidifying his commitment to the local business community and his passion for revitalizing establishments.

This is a spacious bar to bring in group of folks and have a great time! Pool, darts, games! In the spring til fall you can play corn hole (ask bartender on duty to get it set up if it already isn't) Friendly bartenders and great specials for games! There is typical bar food served , pizzas are delicious! I would come here to enjoy a decent dive bar feel with plenty of space and no yelling to hear one another! Bands pop up here and there check out FB or Instagram for details!

All the bartenders are genuine. Have only eaten tacos and cheese curds. But on Tuesday for $1 tacos I'll be there every week!!!
